 Science - Evidence and Investigation

I can classify fingerprints collected from a variety of surfaces.

This week, we examined our own fingerprints using graphite and tape! We had to identify which type of fingerprint pattern we had, e.g. loop, whorl, arch. We will continue our investigation into fingerprints throughout this topic.

Social Studies - Ancient Athens

I can explain how the social structure of ancient Athens impacted its political structure.

This week, we looked at 4 important places in Ancient Athens: Pnyx Hill, Bouleuterion, Agora, and the Courts. We learned what the four places looked like, what they were used for, and who was allowed to attend.

We then went took our knowledge of these places in Athens and built the buildings in Minecraft!
